Set at around 2,500 feet in the hills of Panchalimedu, Idukki, Kerala, Prakriti Shakti is an NABH-accredited naturopathy clinic by CGH Earth, offering drug-free, doctor-supervised healing through naturopathy, yoga, meditation and diet therapy. Built around the Pancha Mahabhutas — the five elements of nature — the 19-room retreat addresses the underlying causes of lifestyle-related health concerns through nine personalized programmes covering rejuvenation, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, weight and obesity management, stress, detox and cardiac health. Guests follow a prescribed diet and yoga schedule (with tea, coffee, alcohol and non-vegetarian food not permitted on-site), dine on fireless raw-food cuisine including raw Kerala Sadya, and can join the interactive kitchen to learn healthy-eating techniques to take home.

Airways Connectivity

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport, approximately 130 km from Prakriti Shakti by road. The journey generally takes around three to four hours depending on traffic.

Railway Connectivity

The nearest major railway station is Kottayam Railway Station, approximately 70 km from the retreat by road.

Roadway Connectivity

Prakriti Shakti is located in Panchalimedu, Idukki, in the highlands of Kerala. The final stretch takes guests through the hills and winding roads of Idukki before reaching the secluded retreat.

All rates include taxes, doctor consultations, prescribed treatments, yoga, meditation, accommodation and the prescribed diet for the duration of your stay.

Prakriti Shakti is NABH accredited, and Naturopathy treatment may be covered by insurance depending on the individual policy. Guests should check directly with their insurer before booking.

Consultation and therapy hours are between 8:30 am–5:30 pm. The initial consultation lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Treatments will begin only after the initial consultation with the doctor, who will determine the appropriate course of treatment and therapies based on individual requirements.

Each treatment programme requires the minimum number of days specified. Guests are advised to arrive before 2:00 pm to allow sufficient time for the initial consultation.

Certain treatments may be restricted or modified during the menstrual cycle.

Yoga sessions begin at 6:30 am daily. Group or private sessions are recommended based on the doctor's assessment.

Children below 14 years are not treated at Prakriti Shakti. Admission is therefore restricted to guests aged 14 years and above.

Complimentary airport transfers are provided to and from Cochin International Airport.

A 50% advance payment is required to confirm a booking, with full payment due 30 days before arrival or by the specified cut-off date.

Cancellations done 30 days or more before arrival receive a full refund; cancellations 21 days before arrival receive a 50% refund; there is no refund for cancellations made less than 20 days before arrival.

Note: For all refunds, applicable payment gateway charges, service fees and taxes will be deducted. The remaining balance will be refunded.
