Heritance Ayurveda, formerly known as Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedara, is an Ayurveda-focused wellness retreat in Beruwala. The property is designed to support an Ayurveda-based lifestyle, with personalized meals, daily treatments, yoga and meditation forming part of the guest experience. The retreat follows a holistic approach centred on relaxation, cleansing and rejuvenation. Following an Ayurvedic consultation, programmes are tailored to the individual's constitution and wellness goals, combining traditional therapies, prescribed nutrition and lifestyle guidance.

Ayurveda at Heritance Ayurveda is based on the principles of prevention, restoration and rejuvenation. Each guest's programme is developed following a consultation with an Ayurvedic physician, with treatments and dietary recommendations tailored to individual requirements.

The wider team brings expertise in areas including Panchakarma, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, Ayurvedic beauty care and psychological approaches to well-being.

While Ayurveda remains at the heart of the retreat, guests can also explore the surrounding coastal region before or after their treatment schedule.
